A warm programme for family audiences: Charlie the clown from Germany, trained sea lions and thirty performers from different countries — aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, equilibrists and animal trainers.
Family show
A big circus adventure for the whole family: camels, horses, donkeys and goats, dogs, monkeys, geese and a big bear, cheerful clowns and colourful sets.
Both programmes are rated 0+, but they are built differently. “This Amazing Circus” is a large show with an international troupe and a running storyline: what matters here is scale and the changing genres in the ring. “Charlie and the Sea Lions” rests on a character and a story: even the youngest viewer can follow Charlie the clown and his sea performers.
Both productions run 120 minutes in two acts with an interval and come to a city for a block of performances, not for a single evening. Each has its own schedule: the cities and dates of one programme are never mixed with those of the other.
“Caravan of Wonders” is a family show whose main characters are animals: camels, horses, donkeys and goats, dogs, monkeys, geese and a big bear, while cheerful clowns bring laughter to the ring.
The schedule lives inside the programme's page — dates for “This Amazing Circus”, dates for “Charlie and the Sea Lions” and dates for “Caravan of Wonders”. The purchase buttons are there too: they lead to official ticketing services. Circus Asia does not sell tickets directly and charges no commission.
The company tours Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Circus Asia does not play a single night and move on: a programme stays in the city for a run of shows — several weeks in a row, with performances at weekends and during the school holidays. The troupe brings its own lighting, sound and circus equipment, so the show can be staged in a state circus, a palace of culture or a large arena alike.
What stays the same from city to city: the programme's line-up and its running time. Only the dates and the venue change.
